Banquet Policies


The client must contact Tim Brown, Director of Special Events at Park Avenue Catering (phone: 212-689-6199, fax: 212-689-6437) with the menu of choice and event details at least two weeks prior to the reserved date. Guarantees must be given to Park Avenue Catering 72 hours in advance of the function. If Park Avenue Catering has not been contacted with a guaranteed count, then the last indication given will be taken as a guarantee.


Park Avenue Catering requires a 50% deposit upon signing of contract. The full balance for the event must be paid in full on the date of the event. All checks should be made payable to Park Avenue Catering.

Taxes and Labor

All food, beverages, service charges, and additional rentals are subject to 8.625% New York City sales tax. Groups requesting tax exemption must provide Park Avenue Catering with the proper tax ID number prior to the scheduled function.


Should a cancellation occur within two weeks of the scheduled function, and Park Avenue Catering is unable to rebook the date, the deposit will be forfeited.

Equipment Rentals

All rentals include linen tablecloths, napkins, china, stemware, silverware, tables and chairs. Rentals other than the above mentioned will be subject to an additional charge.

All events require two hours set up and break down.
Overtime will be charged accordingly.
